Say these words out loud: “Jesus became poor so that through his poverty I might become rich.”

Did you know you just directly quoted God‘s word from 2 Corinthians 8:9? That’s right, God desires, his children to walk in wealth and riches! You might say, “I thought the Bible said that money is evil?” No, the Bible doesn’t say that; it states that the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil (1 Timothy 6:10).

Have you ever heard of the saying “Money makes people funny?” It’s true—without God’s spirit and having the right focus, humanity naturally creates something other than God to worship.

What did Jesus say about money or material things in this world? He showed us what our approach to life should be, by seeking first, the kingdom of God and his right ways (Matthew 6:33). He promised us if those two things become our focus, then all the things the world is chasing after will simply be added to you. That’s right! You don’t have to chase after blessings and riches! You simply chase after King Jesus, live righteously, and His kingdom and the blessing will chase you! Say this out loud: “I’m not chasing blessings, blessings are chasing me as I chase Jesus. I’m not chasing money, money, chases me!”

Money simply magnifies who you are. if you’re seeking first the kingdom, then it is the Father’s good pleasure to release money into your life. Why? Because money multiplies who you are! if you tithe and give offerings to advance the gospel, then why wouldn’t God want you—child of God—to be wealthy?

If God didn’t want to come to His children, then why would He give the wealth of the wicked to the righteous (Proverbs 13:22)? Why wouldn’t He let the wicked keep it? Why would He send His children out from Egypt loaded with silver and gold along with the finest clothes in Egypt (Exodus 12:35-36)?

Throughout the word of God, we see God and His covenant was always a covenant of supernatural wealth and provision. it’s time for the to church begin to rise up in supernatural wealth like the world has never seen, to live with a focus and intentionality to advance the gospel of Jesus Christ where we live, and throughout the world so that the king can receive the reward that he is worthy of.

Do all that you can, with all the means you have to make the name of Jesus known in all the earth, all for the glory of God!

May the power to create wealth come upon your life this year in a supernatural way (Deuteronomy 8:18)!
